About me
I am a London therapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I value and abide by their ethical framework.
I became a therapist after a long career in the arts. It was a job that gave me an in depth understanding of human nature and the difficulties you may be experiencing; the anxiety, depression and trauma that can be so problematic to live with. The complex relationships, past and present, we struggle to understand and make sense of. And the challenges of self-doubt and self-worth we might face throughout our lives.
During that time I volunteered with The Samaritans. It gave me an initial insight into Mental Health, which motivated me to learn more and make the change to psychotherapy.
The integrative model of psychotherapy I practice means I can use a variety of approaches and ideas to ensure that your sessions are always focused in a way that best suits you.
I work with clients who are experiencing -
Anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, abuse, low self esteem, relationship and family issues, loss and bereavement, work stress, anger management, health anxiety, SAD, GAD and borderline personality disorder.
