London therapy and counselling
About me
I am a London therapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I value and abide by their ethical framework.
I became a psychotherapist after a long career in the arts. It was a job that gave me an in depth understanding of human nature; the behaviours we adopt, relationships we struggle with and the complex challenges we face throughout our lives.
During that time I volunteered with The Samaritans. It gave me an initial insight into Mental Health, which motivated me to learn more and make the change to psychotherapy.
The integrative model of psychotherapy I practice means I can use a variety of approaches and ideas to ensure that your sessions are always focused in a way that best suits you.
I work with clients who are experiencing -
Anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, abuse, low self esteem, relationship and family issues, loss and bereavement, work stress, anger management, health anxiety, SAD, GAD and borderline personality disorder.
